| I remember how much of a weak signal I got when I checked the timing on my Z way back and how innacurate it was..... I got this idea somewhere else and it produces AWSOME signal for the pickup on the timing gun. Giving you 100% accuracy when checking something as important as timing. I did it on my RB26 as it uses the same coil system as the Z32 so I dont see why it shouldn't work. The black tape is to make the cable thicker so it fits snug. One end hooks onto spark plug like normal, other peeled is jammed into the coil quoted from "XSDAILO" on freshalloy GTR forum: "First cut a short length of spark plug wire lead - about 8-12" long. Strip the end without the spark plug terminal on it and leave out about 1.5" of the carbon core with the spiral wound wire on it. You don't take anything off the coil. You just remove the coil from the plug. Insert the spark plug wire lead that you stripped into the coil. The best thing is to fold over the carbon core so you minimize the chance of arcing. Then connect the timing light pickup on the spark plug wire lead. This should be clear enough. It is really quite simple. If you feel the need to ask another question about this simple procedure, then you're asking to have your hand held on top of being spoon fed."

works awsome and thought I would share.
